EC-NOx 3-Way Catalysts

At Phillips & Temro Industries, we manufacture our own catalyst elements to our own specifications to meet industry requirements for performance, quality and longevity. Our 3-way catalysts simultaneously reduce NOx, CO and non-methane, non-ethane hydrocarbons. Our process starts with the forming of the precision corrugate, then winding the catalyst substrate under controlled high tension. The substrate then undergoes a heat- treating process to promote cell-to-cell bonding and to prepare the material for the alumina washcoat and precious metal coating. The final product is a catalyst with high mechanical strength and rigidity, excellent wash coat adhesion and uniform loading of precious metals and a very low pressure drop across the catalyst.

 

EC-NOx catalysts are available in eleven standard industry sizes from 11.25" O.D. up to 33.5" O.D. in 3.5" widths. Standard sizes are in stock available for immediate final processing and delivery.

EC-NOx catalysts are also available in Oxidation catalyst formulations to reduce CO and formaldehydes in lean-burn natural gas and diesel engines.
