Engine block heaters are the ultimate choice when AC power is readily available to the parked vehicle.  To reduce electric power required to run block heaters, use our Engine Immersion Heater Thermostat System.  The thermostat cycles the heater on and off based on the temperature of the coolant in the engine.  This allows the heater to operate only for the amount of time necessary to maintain a given coolant temperature – more in cold weather and less in cool weather.  This in turn reduces the electric power used, saving energy and money.

 
Our Air Intake Heaters are used in diesel applications needing quick, smooth and reliable starts in cold weather. The heaters are installed in the intake air system and pre-heat the combustion air to the temperature required for compression ignition of the fuel.  Powered by the vehicle battery, these heaters provide mobile, conveniently available operation.

In addition to engine products, Phillips & Temro manufactures a Cab Power and Cab Power Plus  wiring system for the sleeper cabs of over-the-road trucks.  The Cab Power components distribute 120VAC power for driver comfort and convenience to run "hotel loads" during rest periods. The system can also be installed on service vehicles to run power tools, laptops and other on-board service equipment.
