Phillips & Temro Industries was the first company to design and manufacture an OEM installed 120VAC power distribution system and coined the name “Cab Power”. The Cab Power system is now available from all major truck OEMs and on many aftermarket idle reduction products, as well.
The Cab Power System delivers power to run virtually any 120VAC device from laptops to microwaves in the truck cab. The system is designed to connect directly to land based power and to interface with 12 Volt DC to 120 Volt AC inverters. Systems come complete with external/internal receptacles, a ground fault circuit interrupter and circuit current protection.
When working with 120VAC the key issue is safety and this is Cab Power’s advantage. All of our systems are pre-approved by regulatory labs to both UL and CSA standards. Our systems are also pre-wired to ensure polarity and connectivity. The simple plug and play design makes installation quick and easy.

The system provides a distribution system for 120VAC power to run standard household appliances and office equipment to the driver resting in the truck cab.
